Neurosurgeons Can Now Look at Your Brain through Your Eyes

Scientists have not yet found a way to measure the pressure of a patient’s brain without drilling a hole in their skull. The eye, however, is directly linked to the brain by the optic nerve, which sits at the back of the eyeball. Using an ultrasound probe over the eye is a non-invasive method to identify the pressure in the brain.
