Surgery Restores Hand and Arm Movement in Quadriplegics

During a new study at the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, doctors have managed to restore some functions in the hands and arms of quadriplegic patients. Surgeons have been able to accomplish this by rerouting  still-healthy nerves to damaged ones in the patient’s arms and hands.
