Researchers are exploring brain networks as a way to aid patients with neurological disabilities.

Separate animal studies with rats and monkeys are being conducted, in which the animals brains are connected with electrodes and they work together to complete simple tasks. These ‘brain networks’ have been consistently performing better than the single brain. The teams are exploring new clinical horizons based on the data and experiments.
