There are many different types of spinal implants that serve a wide range of needs.

Implants are typically used to:

  • Facilitate the fusion of two vertebrae
  • Improve the stability of the spine
  • Strengthen the spine
  • Correct deformities like scoliosis
  • Treat degenerative diseases like spondylolisthesis
  • Spinal stenosis

Fusion implants are used for spinal fusion surgeries. There are a few different types of fusion implants, which also come in a range of sizes and materials including titanium and carbon fiber.
Non-fusion spine implants include artificial discs, expandable rods and spinal cord stimulation.
